Invest and Live Abroad
Multi-national individuals who earn their income in one country and live in another are becoming much more the norm, no longer being the rare eccentrics who scared bankers so much just a few years ago. Don’t leave out Mexico, with the country wide broadband, and the high standard of living enjoyed by many, it’s an attractive option. Don’t believe everything you hear;
Don’t even think of lowering your standards. But the price of housing has become so ridiculously high in places like Tokyo or Urban areas, that you could likely cash out, take early retirement and live a much better life elsewhere, for less money. How does a rural house in the South of France, your tropical paradise on the Mexican riviera, a villa overlooking a Caribbean beach and a pied a terre on the ski slopes sound? If it lights your fire, then it’s within your reach
This is simply attainable fiscally speaking, you don’t need to hear that from me. Big business can be run from your laptop with just an internet connection. Relatives back home? Seriously, you don’t see each other that much as it is? How about sending them tickets to visit you and spend some quality time with you instead? International experience is really a must these days for kids.
Their desire to do this only grows with every bad economic report. On the contrary, it will turn the stream into a river. Americans are going to be leaving in droves soon when news of the higher and healthier standards of life reach their ears. The declining US dollar also serves to make property in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Latin America. These economies depend on the dollar and their prices reflect it, if you’ve got another countries dollar, all the better. They, too, are becoming more adventurous in their property purchases. You can also invest in gold bullion much easier as it is not illegal for you to own gold like it is in the states. Living abroad is a great way for you to live internationally. All this new money builds up the area’s economic infrastructure. You are happy, they are happy, everybody is happy.
